In this role, you will be responsible for accurately assessing project requirements, analyzing drawings and specifications, preparing competitive estimates, and supporting our team in delivering successful electrical projects. You will work closely with project managers, clients, suppliers, and field staff to ensure every estimate is accurate, complete, and aligned with project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Prepare detailed cost estimates including labour, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
Perform quantity take-offs and ensure all project components are accounted for
Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and lead times
Identify potential risks, discrepancies, or value-engineering opportunities
Prepare and submit proposals, tenders, and bid packages
Work collaboratively with project managers during handoff to ensure project requirements are clear
