UBC MOT/MPT Surrey Expansion - in progress

UBC Faculty of Medicine (UBC FoM) and Fraser Health Authority (FH) are working in partnership to assist the Province of British Columbia in ensuring that British Columbians have equitable access to quality health care by training larger numbers of Physical Therapists (PTs) and Occupational Therapists (OTs).  UBC FoM is expanding existing UBC Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) and Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) to the Fraser region, an area of rapid population growth identified as among the most underserved by PTs and OTs in the province.

Our scope of work:

  • Complete demolition of the existing floor, while retaining all life safety devices for the neighboring tenants.

  • In-floor conduit systems for floor boxes.

  • Crestron lighting controls.

  • QMC digital sub-metering with BACnet.

  • Multiple electrical panel upgrades.

  • Basket cable tray.

  • Fire alarm upgrade.

  • Custom linear lighting, pedant lights and pot lights.

  • Door security and communications cabling rough in.

  • Workstation power connections.

  • Emergency lighting upgrade.
