For a limited time, the CleanBC program has increased its maximum contribution to:
Up to $2,000 per Level 2 charging station
Up to $97,000 for EV Infrastructure through BC Hydro’s EV Ready Plan
Up to 50% (fifty percent) of your total project costs through NRcan (Maximum of $5,000,000)
Up to $700 per residential single-family home

The different level of EV chargers:
Level 1 charger - (120V) Plugs into a regular 15A or 20A Receptacle. Supplies up to 5 miles of Range Per Hour.
Level 2 charger - (240V) This is the most common EV charger, ranging from 20A to 80A. Supplies power between 9 and 52 miles of Range Per Hour.
Level 3 Charger - (480V) Also known as DC fast charging, this type of equipment is not compatible with all vehicles and is not common in Canada yet. Supplies up to 170 miles of Range in just 30 minutes of charging.
Level 3 Charging (Tesla Supercharger) - The Tesla Supercharger will only work with the Tesla Model S, providing half a charge in approximately 20 minutes.
